We're recruiting a senior estimator & cost planner to join a high performing estimating team working as part of a collaborative team with an excellent culture tendering major projects across the Health, Defence, Critical Infrastructure, Commercial, Marine and Rail sectors.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

- Perform a key role within the Estimating team, ensuring that all aspects relating to resources and costs have been considered
- Maintain an understanding (and associated cost) of current and emerging construction techniques, products and methodologies.
- Establish and maintain regular contact with major suppliers, subcontractors, government authorities, clients and industry consultants where continual contact is important in the achievement of the company's objectives.
- Utilisation of industry software to present cost plans and tenders in a clear and concise format.
- Preparation of tenders on the basis of D&C, GMP, Turnkey and other forms of contract
- Assist the team in negotiating tenders, conditions, etc
- Collation of cost data directly from industry suppliers, subcontractors and completed projects.
- Monitor project costs and provide cost alternatives as required.

We're recruiting a specialist fit-out/refurb Senior Project Manager.

You will be be 2iC to the construction manager and assist in delivering the upcoming pipeline of work which covers commercial, education, defence and mission critical sectors up to $20mil in value.

The Electrical Commissioning Engineer, reporting to the Country Manager (CYM) and working as part of the commissioning team shall be responsible for assisting the Project Commissioning Manager in ensuring that project MEP equipment and facilities are correctly installed and operating in accordance with the equipment and project specifications.

The Commissioning Engineer will utilize commissioning method statements and test records sheets, developed by the Commissioning Team, to ensure that equipment and facilities undergo the correct testing and commissioning processes in line with industry standards and project specification and to confirm that all commissioning activities are correctly recorded, tracked and documented.

This is an entry level position to Commissioning Management, works will be predominantly site based with supervision and training provided by the responsible Commissioning Managers.

We are recruiting an estimator/cost planner for a developer-builder based in Surry Hills.

They have a huge pipeline of work coming up (Approx $5.7b) and are looking to strengthen then pre-construction team as a result.

As an estimator/cost planner, you will be required to assess project costs, analyse data, and prepare accurate budgets, ensuring competitive, cost-effective proposals at all project levels, undertake your own internal measurements and compile accurate cost plans for upcoming projects.

The role would suit an estimator from a head contractor, or a QS/Cost manager from a consultancy.

Project: $1b high-rise, mixed-use development on Gold Coast.

The company is a privately owned developer-builder with a strong pipeline of work in the region.

You will have a proven track record in managing & administering head contracts on high-rise projects north of $100m.

The company is a global data centre provider that is growing their presence in Australia.

Project: Hyperscale Data Centre located in either Sydney or Melbourne - they have acquired sites in each location.

As Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the design production team that leads design and engineering for the largest individual cost center within the construction process, becoming engaged in all technical aspects.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- High-level schematic system design,
- Specification development
- Submittal review
- Design document review - Management of design-build contractors
- Oversight of installation
- Participation in commissioning and transition to operations
- Regular collaboration and coordination is required with electrical and BMS contractors, as well as the construction management team and the equipment procurement team.

You will be presented with complex engineering challenges and be asked to bring them to resolution with all the tools at your disposal. You will ensure existing standards are executed and enhanced for each project. You will evaluate designs and provide engineering analysis to balance CAPEX and OPEX costs. Some client interface is necessary throughout design and construction.
